Understanding the Cravo Dashboard

Your complete guide to navigating and using the Cravo dashboard effectively.


Overview

The Cravo dashboard is your central hub for managing all aspects of your website. Once you've created a site, you can access it from the main Sites list and dive into specific configuration tabs.

Dashboard Sections

Sites List (Home)

Your main landing page showing all created sites. Each site card displays:

  • Site name and URL
  • Sync status (Ready, Syncing, Error)
  • Last updated timestamp
  • Quick actions (Preview, Settings, Delete)

Site Dashboard Tabs

When you click on a site, you'll see the following tabs:

Content Tab

Manage your site's pages and content structure.

Design Tab

Customize the visual appearance of your site.

Navigation Tab

Control how visitors navigate your site.

Top Menu (Navbar)

  • Toggle visibility on/off
  • Choose Floating or Anchored style
  • Add/remove/reorder menu items

Sidebar

  • Toggle visibility on/off
  • Set maximum display depth (1-5 levels)
  • Enable/disable page ordering

Breadcrumbs

  • Toggle visibility on/off
  • Customize separator style

Domains Tab

Connect your own domain to your Cravo site.

1Enter your custom domain (e.g., blog.yoursite.com)
2Add the DNS records shown to your domain provider
3Click "Verify" to confirm connection

Settings Tab

General site configuration and danger zone.

General Settings:

  • Site name
  • Site description (for SEO)
  • Favicon upload

Danger Zone:

  • Delete site (irreversible)
  • Transfer ownership

Header Bar Features

Preview Button

Opens your site in a preview iframe without leaving the dashboard. Changes you make are reflected in real-time.

Publish Status

Shows whether your live site matches your latest edits:

  • 🟢 Published – Live site is up to date
  • 🟡 Unpublished changes – Edits pending publication

Sync Button

Manually fetch the latest content from your Craft document. Use this after making changes in Craft.

Quick Navigation

Click on any page in the Content tab to jump directly to its preview.

Status Indicators

  • 🔄 Syncing – Content is being fetched from Craft
  • Ready – Site is live and operational
  • ⚠️ Warning – Some pages may have issues
  • Error – Sync failed, check your API credentials
