Setting Up SEO for Your Site
Learn how to optimize your site for search engines with meta tags and OG images.
Overview
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) helps your site appear in search results and look great when shared on social media. Cravo lets you configure:
- Meta Title – The title shown in search results
- Meta Description – The snippet below the title
- OG Image – The image shown when shared on social media
Accessing SEO Settings
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click on your site card
- Navigate to Settings → SEO

Site-Wide SEO Settings
Meta Title
The meta title appears in browser tabs and search results. Best practices:
- Keep under 60 characters
- Include your brand name
- Be descriptive and unique

Meta Description
The description appears below the title in search results:
- Keep under 160 characters
- Summarize the page content
- Include relevant keywords naturally
Example: Learn how to create beautiful websites from your Craft.do documents with Cravo's no-code platform.
OG Image
The Open Graph image appears when your site is shared on social media:
- Upload a 1200×630px image
- Include your brand and key visual
- Keep text minimal but readable

Page-Level SEO
Each page can have its own SEO settings:
- Go to Content → Pages
- Click on a specific page
- Find the SEO section
- Customize title and description
Page-level settings override site-wide defaults.
Automatic SEO Features
Cravo automatically handles:
- Canonical URLs – Prevents duplicate content issues
- XML Sitemap – Generated at
/sitemap.xml - Robots.txt – Proper search engine directives
- Semantic HTML – Proper heading structure
SEO Checklist
Use this checklist for each page:
