Customizing Your Site Design

Learn how to customize your site's visual identity including brand colors, typography, and logo settings.

Overview

The Design tab in your Cravo dashboard lets you personalize how your site looks and feels. All changes are previewed in real-time before you save them.

What you can customize:

  • Brand color (primary accent color)
  • Layout width and font size
  • Site logo (icon, emoji, or image)
  • "Made with Cravo" badge visibility (Pro plan)

Accessing the Design Tab

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on your site card
  3. Select the Design tab from the top navigation

Brand Identity

Your brand color is used throughout your site for links, buttons, and accents. Cravo automatically generates a balanced color palette that works in both light and dark modes.

Setting Your Brand Color

  1. In the Design tab, find the Brand Identity section
  2. Click on the color palette
  3. Choose from preset colors or enter a custom HEX value
  4. Preview the change on your site in real-time
  5. Click Save Changes when you're happy

Layout & Typography

Control how your content is displayed across different devices.

Wide Page View

By default, your content has a maximum width of 720px for optimal readability. Enable Wide Page View to expand this to 1080px – great for content with wide images or tables.

  1. Toggle Wide Page View ON or OFF
  2. Preview the change immediately
  3. Save your changes

Base Font Size

Adjust the default text size for your entire site. The slider ranges from 12px (compact) to 20px (large and accessible).

  1. Drag the Base Font Size slider
  2. Watch text resize in the preview
  3. Save when you find the right balance

Logo Settings

Add personality to your site with a custom logo.

Customizing Your Logo

  1. Click on Logo Settings at the bottom of the Design tab
  2. Choose your logo type:
    Icon – Select from hundreds of icons
    Emoji – Pick any emoji
    Image – Upload your own logo image
  3. Preview how it looks in the navbar
  4. Save your changes

Cravo Badge (Pro Feature)

All Cravo sites display a small "Made with Cravo" badge by default. Pro plan users can hide this badge for a cleaner look.

Hiding the Badge

  1. If you're on the Pro plan, find the Cravo Badge section
  2. Toggle Show Badge OFF
  3. Save your changes

💡 TIP
Free plan users will see an "Upgrade" button to access this feature.

Best Practices

  1. Choose a distinct brand color – Avoid colors too similar to gray or white
  2. Test readability – After changing font size, read through your content
  3. Check both modes – Preview your changes in light and dark mode
  4. Use a clear logo – Simple logos work best at small sizes
